Enough about Gay Marriage

Let me preempt any knee jerk reactions to this article. I am in favor of gay marriage becoming a legal norm in this country. I am not homophobic and I am not a Christian or any type of Theist. Read the whole article please. Nonetheless I've heard enough about Gay Marriage. I've heard enough because Gay Marriage is far from the most important issue for the majority of the gay community. Comparing Civil Unions to Separate but Equal a al Plessy Vs. Ferguson is actually offensive. From a practical standpoint, making Gay Marriage the primary focus of the Gay Rights movement is almost certainly impractical, probably counter productive, and, somewhat insensitive.

Ahmadinejad says "Christianity is a religion of peace" (satire)

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Friday Christianity is a religion of peace. However, others say he's just being politically correct and attempting to appease the West.

McCain supporter condones goat sex (satire)

Middlebury VT, Town conservative and John McCain supporter Steve Baxter was recently taped condoning bestiality. The video will appear on Youtube.com later today. We were all sitting around at the bar playing who would you do? It got a little edgy. Then, Steve asked Well, what kind of goat? and would it have a beard and waddles? That silenced a lot of people because he didn't seem to be joking but I really saw my chance, and said, very nonchalantly, a Nubian goat of course, Toggenburgs are ugly, and waddles, no beard, said Cliff Johnston, self identified acquaintance of Steve Baxter.

Google Adsense Frustrations

It would be really nice if Google stopped putting Bicycle ads on my site. I understand, Specialized is a brand of bike and those characters exist within The Unspecialized which is on absolutely every page on this site.

A stupid note about my progress

Obviously I have been slack as hell with my site. The last front page item here, was in August '07 and, that's really unacceptable...unacceptable for me. Now, I while don't think I can excuse this, I can offer a rationalization.
