I host websites with a Debian-Linux server. If that doesn't mean anything to you don't worry, it doesn't need to. The cost is $70/year for one domain name with 500GB of monthly transfer. That's $5/month for all the bandwidth you should ever need, and more than you will probably ever use. This includes, among other things: - Email accounts
- An FTP account (if you choose)
If you want a secure (https) area on your site (for instance if you want plan to do ecommerce and you want to take credit cards) that is an extra $5/month. Other services are available, but, since I usually set up and manage the websites for clients myself, they are not usually relevant. If you would like to know more you can ask me here.
